Catherine Elizabeth (Frank) Steinmetz

Catherine Steinmetz passed away on February 8, 2016 in Dunnellon, Florida. She was born on April 10, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Clarence and Phyllis Frank - the first of three children.
Cathy worked at the FBI as an administrative assistant while she was married to Richard Steinmetz. She became the very devoted caregiver for several years to her mother until her death.
Cathy moved to Florida where she lived for 15 years with the company of her companion dogs, whom she treated like queens. She is survived by her brothers James (Judith) Frank of Redmond, Wa. and Gary (Julie) Frank of Nipomo, Ca., Nieces Jennifer, Aimee, Melissa and nephews Brady and Max.
She was always the big sister, and loved keeping up with her families’ activities. Cathy was a master of German recipes, and we will always think of her when we prepare her favorite desserts, especially German Chocolate Cake!
Burial and a private family celebration will be held in Wisconsin later this year.
