Catherine Lorraine (Hahn) Bearbower

Mrs. Catherine Bearbower, 78, of Dunnellon, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at her home.  She was born in Auburn, Nebraska, to Howard W. Hahn and Vera Heidenreich and moved to this area in 1986, coming here from Shellsburg, Iowa.



Mrs. Bearbower was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Dunnellon.  One of her greatest accomplishments was that she had been a church organist continuously since the age of 11!


Survivors include her six daughters, Beth Climer, Ocala; Ruthie VanNote, Crystal River; Lois Preston, Chicago; and Brenda Flint, Carole Rick, and Vicki Hough, all of Iowa; her two brothers Howard and Phillip Hahn; her sister Rose Marie Higginbotham, 19 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Dennis Ludvigsen in 2004.

A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on
Monday, November 23rd at 10:00AM.
