Chad E. Baxley

Mr. Chad Baxley, 45, of Ocala, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital due to complications from cancer.  Born in Ocala, Chad was a lifelong resident of Marion County.  He worked in the construction industry up until the time of his death.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Ballard (Larry), his grandmother Margaret Luffman, and his niece Blaine Baxley and her mother Vanessa. He is preceded in death by his brother Lance Baxley and his grandfather Lester Luffman.

No more grief, no more pain, no more struggles,

May your free spirit soar with the Angels.

God saw he was getting tired

And a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around him

And whispered, “Come with Me.”

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer

And saw him fade away,

Although we loved him dearly

We could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating

Hard working hand to rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
