Charles R. "Chuck" Eddy

Charles R. “Chuck” Eddy, 98, longtime resident of Dunnellon, passed away Thursday, October 24, at the Reserve at Citrus while under Hospice care.

He is survived by his children Thomas Eddy and his daughter Charlene Gorski, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Audrey, his children Susan Bakowski, Jerry Eddy, and Tracy Gates.

Chuck worked for many years in this area as a building contractor, and later taught construction trades at the Withlacoochee Technical Institute in Inverness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 30, 2023, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, with Pastor Jeffrey Welch officiating.  Mr. Eddy will be laid to rest with his wife Audrey in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
