CHARLES C. HANNA, 82, passed away at his home on October 18, 2011. Mr. Hanna was born in Boston, MA to parents Frederic T. and Marion A. Hanna and moved from Brockton, MA to Dunnellon in 2003. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as Senior Master Sergeant with more than 23 years of service. He was a member of the AF Sergeants Assoc., the DAV, and a lifetime member of the VFW. His hobbies included reading and attending musical performances.
He is survived by one brother, Frederic T. (Gertrude) Hanna, Palmetto, FL; three nieces: Jean (Richard) Mortensen, Dunnellon, FL; Carol (Sam) Claybrook, El Cajon, CA; Christina (Bernie) Regan, Norwood, MA; and two nephews Michael (Lisa) Hanna, NY, and James Hanna, MA.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2011 with viewing at 10:00 a.m., at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. Inurnment will follow on Friday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
