Charles Andrew Mowrey

Charles Andrew Mowrey passed away on October 22, 2013 at his home in Dunnellon, Florida. He was born January 1, 1925 in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania into a family with four brothers and three sisters, two of his sisters survive him.

Charles and his wife Margaret Marie Lupole were married on November 18, 1944 while he served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945 in Washington, DC. He worked at Penntech Papers until 1985 when he retired. They were residents of Dunnellon for 27 years.

Among Charles favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting and playing cards. He was a member of the American Legion, and head usher at Rainbow Lakes United Methodist Church.

Charles was predeceased by his wife Margaret January 17, 2011. Survivors include his three sons; James, Charles R. (wife Cathy), and Denis (wife Bev) along with 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and his two surviving sisters.
