Charles Jacob “Jake” Noland, 34, died suddenly in a motorcycle accident in New Port Richey, Florida, traveling home from work on Friday, June 30, 2023. Jake was born in Ocala on June 2, 1989, to Mike and Beth Noland of Lecanto. He was a 2008 graduate of Crystal River High School. He played varsity football, tennis and studied at The College of Central Florida. He was employed by Publix for 15 years and in a managerial position for seven years in the Tampa/New Port Richey area. Jake enjoyed spending time outdoors with friends and family and grew up boating and water skiing. He loved his father’s annual hunting trips, a recent trip to Peru with his brothers, gaming, weightlifting and sharing a new home with Vanessa and their dogs. Jake was predeceased by his grandparents, Wayne and Beatrice Noland of Dunnellon and Charles and Shirley Hagerty of Crystal River, his aunt, Portia Guinn of Homosassa and his uncle, Dale Noland of Dunnellon. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Beth Noland of Lecanto, his older brother, Reed Noland of Winter Garden and twin brother, Joshua Noland and his two children of Tampa, beloved sweetheart Vanessa Scholz of New Port Richey, his aunts and uncles Patricia (Frank) Jackson of Dunnellon, Dana (Kaz) Nycz of Lake Alfred and Sandy (Jim) Stephenson of Altamonte Springs and many cousins. Jake lived life on his own terms, had a huge heart, was so kind to everyone and had the sweetest smile. Jake is very much loved and missed by his family and friends. Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Gulf to Lake Church, 1454 N Gulf Avenue, Crystal River, Florida 34429, officiated by Pastor Lloyd Bertine. Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon, Florida is assisting the family with arrangements.
