Clara M. (Lis) Scott

Mrs. Clara M. Scott, 86, of Dunnellon, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Legacy Hospice House.  A native of Danby, NY, she moved to this area 30 years ago, coming here from N. Liberty, Iowa.  She is survived by her daughter Charlene Martin, her son John Scott, her sister Stephania Ann Lis Longo, her brother Edwin “Pookie” Joseph Lis, her sister-in-law Norma Lis, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Scott in 1993.  Funeral services for Mrs. Scott will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, with Pastor Dennis Bower and her grandson Rev. John Wesley Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in Dunnellon Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Legacy House C/O www.hospiceofmarion.com  or Angel Flight C/O www.angelflightsoars.org
