Cora "Jackie" Platt

Cora “Jackie” Platt, 84, died on Friday, December 6, 2019 while under the care of Hospice at the Legacy House in Ocala. She was born on April 28, 1935 in Washington, DC. Jackie was the daughter to the late Lucien Cofield and Leona(Godwin). She retired as a  custodian with the city of Hollywood, FL. Jackie moved to Dunnellon in 1997 from Hollywood, FL. She enjoyed shopping and going to Disney. Jackie will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Those left behind are her children, Wilmont Platt, III, Roxy McGlothin, Faith Weatherholt, Dawn Haynes, Cheri Moreland; her twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmont Platt and her two sisters, Annette and Shirley Cofield.

Her family will be celebrating her life by going to Disney at a later date.
