Cynthia "Cindy" Green Bivens Benfer

Cynthia “Cindy” Green Bivens Benfer, 68, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. A native of Jupiter, FL, she was born February 18, 1958 to John and Gertrude (Laws) Green as the youngest of three children. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Cindy was a fun-loving friend and brought a positive presence to every room she entered. She was the life of every party and was a proud member of VFW Post 10087 of Beverly Hills, FL. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jackie Bivens, and husband Randall Benfer. Cindy is survived by her loving children Jaime Sprague of Beverly Hills, FL; Jacqueline Bivens of Gainesville, FL; Joseph Bivens (wife Brandi) of Dubai, UAE; Jason Bivens (wife Mika) of Atsugi, Japan; siblings Trudy Bivens (husband Harold) of McCurtain, OK; Timothy Green (wife Michelle) of Fort McCoy, FL; grandchildren Chelsy and Savanna Sprague, both of Stuart, FL; Jonathn Sprague of Beverly Hills, FL; Zavian and Ziva Bivens, both of Atsugi, Japan; and great-grandchildren Brinley and Jackson Sprague, both of Beverly Hills, FL. Funeral services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon, FL on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She will be laid to rest at the family cemetery in Romeo, FL.
