DANIEL J. CONNORS  II was called home to Christ, Sunday, February  19,
2012, after a long battle with cancer.  He passed away peacefully
under the care of hospice.  Dan was born March 15, 1937, in Jersey
City, NJ, and graduated from St. Aloysius High School in June 1955.
After high school, Dan served in the Navy for six years, stationed at
Millington Naval Base near Memphis where he met his wife Ann Elise
Longhill.  They were married April 8, 1961, in Memphis, TN.  He
attended Wichita State University then worked for Boeing Aircraft for
three years and for G.E. Medical Systems in St. Louis, MO as a Sr.
Field Engineer for 30 years.  Dan was active in Mary Queen of Peace
parish in St. Louis and in St. John the Baptist parish in Dunnellon,
FL where he and Ann Elise (Nikki) retired in 1998.  One of his
greatest joys was sitting on his dock watching the Rainbow River and
all the wildlife.  He also enjoyed the family visits from his children
and grandchildren whom he loved so much.

Daniel is pre-deceased by his mother, Mary Graper, and his father
Daniel J. Connors, Sr., and his sister Mary Connors, and is survived
by his devoted wife Ann Elise (Nikki), his loving children: Mary
Elise, Kristin (Keith), Kathy (Joe Clare), Daniel III (Christeen),
Maggie, Angela, John (Katinka), Molly and David (Johnna), his beloved
grandchildren: Sean (Jackie), Erica (Logan), Ashleigh, Lauren, Kyle,
Brendan, Joey, Nick, Daniel IV, Gabrielle, Haley, Caityn, Alex,
Cristian, Olivia, and Elian, and great grandchildren: Riley and Ryan
as well as his dear sisters-in-law Margaret Longhill, Chris Lyle, and
Jean Longhill and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home
of Dunnellon.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m.
at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow
at Florida National Cemetery.
