Daniel Lee Fike was laid to rest to be reunited with his late wife, Arlene Jean Fike. He leaves behind his loving wife, Bonnie Fike.

Dan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather—without a doubt one of the toughest men you could ever meet. He was a true jack of many trades, with a lifetime of hard work and dedication. Over the years, he held roles ranging from Maintenance Director to deep-sea diver, where he helped build seawalls. No matter the task, Dan took pride in his work and gave it his all.

If you ever needed a helping hand or someone to call on, Dan was always there—reliable, strong, and willing to lend support to anyone in need.

He is survived by his daughters: Joyce Brannan (husband Keith Brannan), Janet Dean (preceded in death by husband Vince Dean), and Cathy Lawrence (husband Hugh Lawrence). He is also survived by his sons: Arthur Fike (preceded in death by wife Cheryll Fike), Daniel Fike Jr. (wife Kimberly Fike), and Robert Glen Fike.

Dan leaves behind a large and loving family of grandchildren: Kimberly McCabe, Kasey Fike, Logan Brannan, Amy Thurston, Donald Riley, Mary Gibson, Bud Gibson, Nellie Fike, Robert Fike Jr., and Bobby Fike. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Jaxson Grasso, Ryan Fike, Ariel Leamer, Mikala Harrington, Robert Brown, Destiny Lawrence, Slade Lawrence, and Grace.

Dan’s strength, work ethic, and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
