Danny W. Lee

Danny W. Lee, 73, died on July 1, 2017 at his residence in Dunnellon. He leaves behind his wife, Lillian (Kovaks) Lee, Dunnellon; his daughters, Deanna Heitschmidt (Jerry), Tamara Jensen (Jaysen); his son, Christopher Lee (Lori); his stepdaughter, Faith Thomas (Rich); his stepsons, Shawn Brady, Matthew Brady (Kelly); his sisters, Barbara Ball and Pat Hartman; his seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren; his one great grandchild and two step great grandchildren. Danny was born October 9, 1943 in Kane County, Illinois. He was the son to the late Daniel and Lena (Trowbridge) Lee. He was raised in Aurora, Illinois. Danny retired from General Mills in West Chicago as the Manager of Information Systems. He and wife Lillian made their home in Dunnellon 14 years ago from Elgin, Illinois. Danny was a HAM radio operator (K9WEY) and had an independent business from home working on computers. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and computers. Danny was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a third degree Knight of Columbus. He was a gentle soul who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. As we all know Danny entered his heavenly home and is helping to prepare our home with the Father as we shall see him again on that glorious day. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in eternal peace.
