David L. Burton, 55, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Ocala, Florida. He was born in
Terre Haute, Indiana.
He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran, member of the UTU & BLE Unions, Lake Tropicana Volunteer Fire Dept., a Methodist by faith and a retired conductor/engineer for the CSX Railroad.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, washing and tinkering with his Dodge Ram Hemi pickup truck, he was an artist, an avid Florida gator fan and enjoyed spending quality time with his Family especially his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Beth), Sons: Joshua (Heather), NAS Lemoore, CA; Levi (Briana), Ocala; Daughters: Amanda, Orlando, FL; Cherish (James) Krisciunas, Deltona, FL; Father, Eugene Burton, Orange City, FL; Brother: Christopher (Kerri), Deltona, FL; Sisters: Deborah (Michael) Kane, Windermere, FL; Karen D’Angelo, Sanford, FL; Grandchildren: Alexis, Alex, Deziree, Jacob, Sean, Timothy, Tyler and Kadence.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at The Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, FL and Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 10:00 to service time. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at The Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, FL with Rev. Eddie Fulford, officiating. Interment is scheduled for 2:00 pm in The Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with full military honors provided by The Spring Hill Marine Corps League Honor Guard.
