David Bradford Grice

David Bradford Grice, 69, passed away January 19, 2023.  He was born at Munroe Memorial Hospital, May 1, 1953. He was a lifetime resident of Ocala.

He accepted Jesus Christ into his life at the age of 10, joining St. Mark’s Methodist Church.

Upon graduation from Vanguard High School in 1971, he began a career as a Railroad Signalman.  He retired from CSX Transportation in 2013.

David was an avid fisherman and hunter.  In his later years he mainly just enjoyed being outdoors.

He had a special love for children, especially his Grandson Andrew.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Nell Grice, and his son David Scott Grice.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Porter Grice, his brothers Bruce (Sandra) and Keith, both of New Brockton, Alabama, a sister Linda Davis (Wayne), Ocala, his brothers-in-law Walt Porter (Nancy) and Richard Porter, both of Ocala, and last but not least his faithful buddy Gus.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, February 18, at Andalusia Acres, 17300 NE 45 Avenue Road, Citra, FL 32113.
