Dawne Marie Dolan

Dawne M. Dolan, 89, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2023 under the care of Advent Fish Memorial Hospice Unit in Orange City, Florida. Dawne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph B. Dolan, Ret. Maj USAF. They were married for 63 years. Brothers Kenneth Barber, Ronald Barber, and John Barber, mother Louise Barber and father Burton Barber. She attended Waltham High School in Watham,MA and married Joseph B. Dolan on October 16, 1954.  In 1972, Dawne and Joe made their home in Dunnellon FL where they became faithful parishioners of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Dawne was a Sacristan, Eucharistic Minister, Ministry to the Sick, member of the Alter and Rosary Women’s Group, Bingo, and volunteered countless hours during events and various projects at St. John’s.

Dawne leaves behind her daughters, Susan Markham, Tampa, FL, Catherine Brown, Sanford, FL, son Joseph B. Dolan, Jr. and Elizabeth Dolan, Limestone, TN; her grandchildren Melissa Markham, Timothy Markham, Melanie Markham, Jessica Kindler, Aimee Snowden and Arielle Dolan; two great grandchildren, Luther and Austin and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home from 1-3PM with a wake service starting at 2pm followed by a recitation of the holy rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, FL.
