Deanna "D" C. Rogers

Deanna C. Rogers, 75, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her residence in Dunnellon. D, as she was affectionately known, was born on August 30, 1948 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Val B. Chete΄ and Alida (Vervoort) Chete΄.  Deanna spent her early years in New Jersey, later moving to Pinellas County where she graduated from Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport.  She followed her passion for healthcare and became a Radiologic Technologist in 1968, training and working for then Mound Park Hospital, now known as Bayfront Health. She rounded out her career by teaching medical professionals for G.E. Healthcare, throughout the country. In 2006, Deanna and her late husband built their dream home in Dunnellon. A talented artist with an eye for decorating, who also enjoyed gardening, above all her love for her friends and family was at the center of all that she did. She will be greatly missed by all.

Deanna is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Jeff Rogers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother Val Chete΄, Dunnellon, FL; daughter, Cassondra Rogers, Gulfport, FL; her daughter in law, Jennifer Royael, Gulfport, FL; her grandson, James M. Barkey, and her two great grandchildren, Scarlet and Jamison Barkey.
