Deborah Jo (Konin) Swimmer

Deborah Jo Swimmer-Truesdell, AKA Deb, 68, passed away on May 25, 2024 at her home in Dunnellon. She was born on July 26, 1955 in Santa Barbara, CA and was the daughter to the late Col David H. Konin and Betty J. Pittenger. As a military child, Deb moved around a lot. Eventually, her family settled in Florida. Deb, reunited and married her high school love Rick while living in Orlando. They spent the last twenty-six years together as best friends enjoying life.  Deb worked for many years at the Catfish Place and as a Dental Hygienist. She loved making people smile with her infectious positivity and huge heart.  Deb was an avid sports fan, she loved her Orlando Magic and Miami Dolphins. She was a huge part of the online community for both teams, and developed thousands of friendships through her love for both teams.  Deb will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her husband, Rick Truesdell; her son, Matt McKee; Her daughter, Brooke McKee; her stepchildren, David “Richie” Truesdell, Brittany and Breanna; her brother, Ollie Konin; her sister, Rae Morue and her five Grandchildren.
