He is survived by his children Stephen G. Banks and Christine Banks Glaister, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded by death of his loving wife Dorothy I Banks, and grandson Chadwick Banks.
Mr. Banks was born in North Brookfield, Massachusetts on August 21, 1917. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army receiving the Bronze Star and numerous citations for his service.
He worked for Pan American World Airways for many years and enjoyed playing golf in his retirement.
Visitation will be held Sunday 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM on February 17, 2013 at Roberts Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Monday 10 A.M. on February 18, 2013, at Roberts Funeral Home 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunellon, FL 34432 with Reverend Lynn Fonfara of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Fero Memorial Cemetery.
