Delbert John Fredericks, Jr.

Mr. Delbert J. Fredericks, 56, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 13, 2016.   A native of Elgin, Illinois, he and his family moved to Dunnellon 8 years ago.

His survivors include his wife Sherri, two daughters, Savanna and Elizabeth, his father and step-mother Delbert, Sr., and JoAnn Fredericks, two sisters, Kinda Whitten and Shari Ramirez, and his three brothers Sean Fredericks, Steve McCloud, and Scott McCloud.  He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Ann Jaeger and his sister Julie McCloud.

Del worked as an IT Consultant for IBM. He loved to cook and spend quality time with his girls. His favorite sport was the UFC, they just lost their biggest fan and they don't even know it. Born and raised in the Chicago area he wanted to thank the Cubs for taking the championship before it was time for him to leave this world and move on to the next. He loved life and lived it to the fullest so it was perfectly fitting that his favorite quote was "Get busy living or get busy dying"
