Donald Eric Dutkiewicz

Donald Dutkiewicz, a brilliant mind and a devoted father, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 after a life of dedication and compassion. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, January 5, 1960 and was raised in Maumee Ohio.

With an IQ of 140, Donald excelled as a businessman, a salesman, and an expert in HVAC and refrigeration. For 40 years, he called Dunnellon, Florida, home, but his greatest legacy was the life he built with his daughter. When he discovered she was on the way, he set aside his own plans and chose to raise her alone. Despite her health challenges, including type 1 diabetes, he provided everything she needed—financially, emotionally, and with unwavering love. Donald was not just a father—he was a teacher, a guide, and a best friend. The bond they shared was unbreakable—across miles, across time. He gave her a chance at life, and he will be missed beyond words.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole, his younger brother, James, and his older brother Mark (Duke). All of the same last name.
