Donna Sue Riley

Donna Sue Riley, 74, died on Monday, October 14, 2024 at her residence in Dunnellon, FL. She was born into this life on August 14, 1950 in Marion, VA, and was the daughter to the late Donald and Madeline (Poe) Goodman. She married George Riley in 1970 in Virginia after having met him on a double date at a bowling alley. After living in Virginia for many years, Donna decided to move to a warmer climate in Orlando, FL where she worked for JC Penny in customer service. In 2014, following retirement, after a career in customer service, she made her home in Dunnellon with her husband, George. Donna enjoyed working around the house, whether it be mowing, painting, or cooking. She truly loved Florida, especially all the people she worked with throughout the years.  Donna will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her husband of fifty four years, George Riley.

Memorial contributions can be made in Donna’s memory to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Dunnellon.
