Ed Nicholson

Ed Nicholson, 86, long-time resident of Dunnellon, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.  He was born in Carrabelle Fl. On Dec 7th 1937, and moved to Dunnellon at a very young age.  Ed attended school in Dunnellon, graduating in 1956, and then joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a lifelong avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and being with friends and family where he enjoyed telling stories of his many life experiences. Ed is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie, his brother JD, his sisters Kay and Rebecca, his daughters Mandy and Janice, his three sons Jerome, Van and Danny,  and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ed's sense of humor and story-telling will surely be missed.
