Edward Lee Soldano of Dunnellon, Florida went to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Ocala, Florida.
Edward was a member of the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Fulford.
Mr. Soldano was born on April 20, 1951 in Key West, FL, the son of the late William and Alice Soldano, He was preceded in death by his first wife LaVoun Soldano, daughter Sheena Lee Soldano, and sister Frances Kulczyk, brothers-in-law Maxwell (Pookie), Stanley & Alton Bishop, Jerry Reagan, and sister-in-law JoAnn Connelly.
He was a butcher for more than 30 years with Winn Dixie, Russells, Cash & Carry ending with Sweet Bay. Edward was a man that never met a stranger. He made friends at first meeting and kept them to heart. He had a great love for fishing, raising animals of all types, but most of all his love for family. A great story teller for all his grandchildren with whom he loved spending time. Edward had a strong love for his church and Christ.
Edward is survived by wife Ezalee Soldano, his children Shawn Soldano (Natalie), Tim Peterson (Julie), James Peterson. Sisters Lousie Soldano (Michael),Nancy Dowling (Matthew), Step-mother Judy Soldano, Brothers-in-law Peter Kulcxyk, Jesse Bishop (Joann), Randy Bishop (Darlene) Ronnie Reagan, Ted Connelly, and sisters-in-law Rhonda Hartley, Patsy Bishop, Candy Delawter, Ann Reagan, Shirley Nichols (Alvin). Grandchildern Keaton Soldano, Dylan Peterson, Olivia Peterson, Victoria Peterson, Emily Romero, Scott Romero, Justin Romero, Zachery Romero and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service, celebrating the life of Edward Lee Soldano, will be conducted Saturday (10/5) 2:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon (352-489-2429) with Pastor Eddie Fulford, First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon, officiating.
