ELAINE G. OSTRANDER, age 88, of Dunnellon, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala.
Mrs. Ostrander was born in New York City on January 8, 1923, and moved back to Dunnellon this year from Sebastian, Florida. She was a retired bookkeeper and Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her son, William “Bud” Ostrnader of Bell, FL, two daughters, Robin Pevonka of Dunnellon, Deborah Carmody of St. Augustine, FL, a brother, Robert Schloesser of Sebastian, FL, a sister, Joan Castro of the Canary Islands, three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank R. Ostrander.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
Private burial to be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
