Elizabeth Kimmerling

Dunnellon- Elizabeth “Betty” A. Kimmerling, 82, died on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in Gainesville, FL. She was born into this life on September 23, 1940 in Bridgeport, CT. Elizabeth was the daughter to the late John R. and Edith Mae (Lugar) Lownds.

In 2002. Elizabeth moved to Dunnellon from Largo, FL. Betty was a member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church, the Eastern Star #319 of Homosassa, VFW Ladies Auxillary 4864 of Hernando, Cooties #76, Foresters, and the Good Sams #118. In her leisure time, she enjoyed fishing, crafting, especially Swedish Weaving, RV’ing, and volunteering.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Kimmerling; her son Paul J. Kimmerling and her grandson, Kevin Kimmerling.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Michael Kimmerling (Denise), Brooksville, FL; his daughter, Rita Kimmerling, Mayer, MN; his seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at Holy Faith Episcopal Church in Dunnellon. Inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
