Elizabeth Ann Veon

Elizabeth Ann Veon, 85, died on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Life Care Center in Ocala, FL. She was born on January 23, 1935 in Nemocolin, PA and raised in Youngstown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank L. Palcko and Elizabeth Ann (Scerbak) Palcko and two brothers and sisters.

Elizabeth became a Medical Transcriptionist  and worked in a hospital in Pennsylvania and then Albuquerque, NM where she met her future husband, George on a blind date. In 1955 they tied the knot and moved around the country as George led a career in the US Air Force. In 1971 they both made their home in Dunnellon, Florida. She was catholic by faith and she will be dearly missed by all of her family, friends and the staff at Life Care Center in Ocala where she stayed the last eight years of her life.

Elizabeth leaves behind her husband of sixty six years, George F. Veon; her son, Robert Veon; her daughter, Denise Kingsley and her sister Beatrice Keys.
