Elmer K. Fizz

Inglis- Elmer K. “Skeeter” Fizz passed away December 19, 2014 at Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL. He was born in Stowe, PA in 1934, moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1947 with his family, and retired to Inglis, FL in 2000.
He was a member of VFW Post 8698 Inglis, FL, a life member of Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Local 123 (formerly 111), and a member of Loyal Order of Moose St. Petersburg lodge 1145 for 43 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a Nascar fan, and a Tampa Bay sports supporter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Beverly, son, Kevin Dawson, 3 daughters, Penni Dawson, Pam Cloer, and Heather Rochkind, brother, Al Fizz, and sister, Jean Mack. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 nephew, 4 nieces, and several great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer E. & Ora M. Fizz, and younger brother, Billy Fizz. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:30PM at Our Pub, Inglis, FL.
