Elmer E. Willis “Willie”, 77, died on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Tampa, FL. He leaves behind his children, Gregory K. Willis, Inglis, FL, Lisa D. Ennis, Pinellas Park, FL and Clint Willis, Melrose, FL; his sister, June Smith, Dunnellon, FL; his grandchildren, Kevin A. Willis,Citrus Springs, FL, Marcus L. Willis, New Port Richey, FL,  Amy M. Willis, Belleview, FL,  Amanda N. Clark, St. Petersburg, FL, Ivan J. Willis, Melrose, FL, Tiffany L. Ennis, Pinellas Park, FL, Evan Willis, Melrose, FL and six great grandchildren.
 
 
 Willie was born on May 5, 1938 in Jasper, Fl to the late Ruben Harden and Nancy Viola(Dempsey) Willis. He graduated from Jasper High School and then joined the US Navy where he served from 1955 to 1959. Willie came to the Dunnellon area in 1975 from Largo, FL and moved permanetly in 1996. He worked for Napa and then worked for the city of Clearwater for 21yrs. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dunnellon. His passion was working on cars, but most importantly his family and friends.
 
 
 Funeral Services celebrating Willie's life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting an hour prior. There will be a public visitation held on Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place following Sunday funeral at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery in Clearwater.
