Emma A. Campbell, 97, passed away on July 17, 2021. Emma and her late husband, Leonard retired to the Rainbow Springs Forest in 1990 to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of Florida. Emma was born August 26, 1923 in Staten Island. She was employed by Standard Oil as a secretery. She met her husband, Leonard at a USO dance after the end of WWII. Marrying in 1948, Emma and Leonard moved to New Jersey where Emma provided support helping Leonard graduate from Rutgers University to become an electrical engineer. They decided to stay in NJ and raised six children in the suburbs. Emma has been known for for her strong will and dedication to her family. She was independent and believed in taking responsibility.

Emma is survived by five children, Tom, Rich, Bill, Judy, and Marianne. Emma was preceded by her youngest son Paul on October 7, 2017.

Her family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Committal services will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM where she be buried alongside her beloved husband.
