Emma F. Hodgetts

EMMA FLORENCE HODGETTS, age 91, of Dunnellon passed away December 24, 2011.  She was born in Woodhaven, NY, the daughter of Florence and Carroll Chamberlin.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hodgetts, sisters Adele Dowie, Laura Thurman, and brother Carroll Chamberlin.

She is survived by her daughter Jan Hodgetts of Dunnellon, sister Pat Shirmer of Clovis, NM, and brothers Roy Chamberlin of Carmel, CA, and George Chamberlin of Ocracoke, NC. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews that will treasure Em’s great love of family and friends.

Emma attended the Riverland Baptist Church, with daughter Jan, and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 58, Rainbow Squares, Rainbow Rivers Club and USABDA Club (Dance).

Visitation will be at noon, Tuesday, January 3, 2011 with a Funeral Service following at 1:00, Rev. Rex Carringer officiating, and interment following at
Dunnellon Memorial Gardens.
