Ernest Wray Wright, 77, died Friday, May 18, in Dunnellon, Florida. He was born in Springfield, Ohio and moved to Inglis, FL in 1995 and Dunnellon, FL in 2006.
He was retired from International Navistar, former owner/operator of “Ernie’s Used Cars”, AMVETS member, UAW Local 402 all of Springfield, a Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Navy, member of VFW Post # 4864, Citrus Springs and member of the Deeper Life Pentecostal Church of Dunnellon.
He enjoyed traveling to flea markets & auctions; shopping for bargains, buying, selling and trading items; internet games, socializing, playing a game of chance and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, Sons: Timothy “Jennifer” Wright, Springfield, Ohio, Anthony Wright, Springfield, Ohio, Patrick Frank, Broomfield, Colorado; Daughters: Tina “Tim” Mueller, Springfield, Ohio and Christina “Daniel” Franco, Palm Harbor, Florida; Grandchildren: Michael and James Wills, Ashley Sharpe, Ernie Ewers, Christopher and Marcus Wright, Alex and Madeline Franco. He was preceded in death by a son Ernest D. Wright, daughter Beth Corns, parents Ernest Ray and Leona (McCoy) Wright, Brother William Wright and sisters Delphia Atkins and Mary Lou Quesinberry.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date and time with inurnment to follow in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
