Ethel Crosby

Dunnellon - Ethel Crosby, 79, died peacefully on July 12, 2015 at her home in Dunnellon. Born in Miami, FL and daughter to the late John R. and Helen Viola (Jordan) Barrett, she moved to Dunnellon in 2000. Ethel was a former member of the First United Methodist Church and Woman's Club in Rainbow Lakes. She attended First Baptist Church in Rainbow Lakes Estates. Ethel was a loving and giving person to all she knew. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John S. Crosby. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Joan E. Beaudry, John D. Crosby (Katarina), Robert A. Crosby (Patricia), Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015, 3:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. Interment will be Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
