Eugene F. Cusick, III

Eugene F. Cusick, III, 88, died on July 27, 2026 in Crystal River, FL. He is survived by his spouse, Joyce Elizabeth Cusick; his daughters, Dawn and Sharon Cusick; his son, Eugene F. Cusick, IV. There will be a private ceremony and memorial held at a later date.

Eugene was a devoted husband, loving family man, and a man of many passions. He had a deep love for coins and cars, but nothing mattered more to him than his wife and family. A determined and hardworking man, he earned his college degree from the University of Miami while married, a journey that took 11 years and five different colleges to complete. His perseverance was matched only by his kindness- he found joy in helping others, dedicating over two years as a volunteer fraud specialist and counselor with Fraud Watch.

He proudly served three years in the United States Marine Corps before spending 13 years in auto finance. Eventually, he transitioned into sales, rising to the role of Regional Manager. Even after retiring from that position, he returned to his true passion- being a salesman, where his natural ability to connect with people shined. His humor was his trademark, both in his career and daily life, bringing laughter and warmth to everyone he met.

Eugene leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and generosity. His impact will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
