Eunice Darlene Thrasher, AKA, Sis, Nanny, Big Eunie, 74, died on September 3, 2024 at her residence in Crystal River. She was born on September 5, 1949 in Brooksville, FL and was the daughter to the late Billy Arthur Oliver and Thelma (Young) Oliver. Her grandmother was a Cherokee Indian and moved to Florida from North Carolina. Eunice is a lifelong resident of Citrus County and graduated from Crystal River High School in 1967. She drove a School Bus in Citrus County for many years, eventually retiring. Eunice was Baptist by faith and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, her dogs, and drawing.

She is preceded in death by her son Donald Darnell and her brothers, Billy Arthur Oliver “Billy Bo”, and Troy Leslie Oliver.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Duane Darnell along with his Wife Terri; her sister, Marilyn Ford along with her husband Steve; her grandchildren, Kennisha Miranda, Cameron Darnell, Duane Darnell and great granddaughter, Zarella Rose Miranda.
