Eva Gable, 74, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Lecanto,FL. She was born January 9, 1939 in New York, NY. Eva was the daughter to the late Pedro and Josephine (Pacheco) Rodriguez.
Eva retired as a bookkeeper for the banking industry in New Jersey. She moved here in 1998 from Cranford, New Jersey to Citrus Springs in where she was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and a member of the Spanish-American Club. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and most importantly her loving family who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Ronald Gable, Citrus Springs; her sons, Michael Gable, Linden, NJ and Ronald Gable,Jr., Canandaigua, NY; her brothers, Fred Rodriguez, FL; her sisters, Hilda Schklair, TX, Josie Cooke, FL and Gloria Ortiz, FL; her grandchildren, Rochelle, Synedy, Jaime, Joseph, Jessica and one great-grandchild, Ethan.
Eva’s family will be receiving friends on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Citrus Springs.
