Frances Marie Whitlinger

Dunnellon-Oak Bend Village-  Frances ”Fran” “Sass” Marie Whitlinger,101, died on Sunday evening of July 1, 2018. She was born on November 3, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA. Frances was the daughter to the late Andrew and Josephine(Adamska)Kruszewski.  Frances moved to Dunnellon in 2005 from Zanesville, OH. She retired as a Pharmacy Technician. Frances became a widow in 1986 after the death of her husband, George “Hokey” Whitlinger. After George’s death Frances dedicated her time to taking care of her sister up until her passing at which time she moved to Oak Bend Village in Dunnellon. Frances enjoyed playing bingo at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and worshiping their on Saturdays.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Bennett  and her husband Mike, Dunnellon, FL; her granddaughter, Dawn Bennett (Kieth) Smith; her great grandchildren, Jason Bennett (Lisa), Jennifer Trimarco, Ashley Irmak (Ilker), Chyenne, Ella, Ashton, and  Mila Bennett; her great great grandson, Lucas Trimarco. She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Hokey” Whitlinger, her sister, Hellen Keller, her grandchildren, Mike Dunnington and Leanne  Bennett.

Mrs. Whitlinger will be interred by her husband at a later date at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio.
