Frank T. Orgill

b. September 19, 1932

Frank T. Orgill, 92, died on January 4, 2025 at Advent Health in Ocala, FL. He was born on September 19, 1932 in New Britain, PA and was the son to the late Frank C. and Florence K. (Kriebel) Orgill. Frank grew up in Pennsylvania and after graduating from high school he enlisted with the United States Air Force and served during the Korean conflict. While in the Air Force, Frank was stationed in Greenland for several years as a radio operator. Following his military service, Frank went back home to Pennsylvania and started working for Gimbles Vatus Retail Company as a Systems Analyst. In 1959, he married Alice Speece and together they made their home in Pennsylvania. Frank eventually retired, and moved to Florida in 1992. He became a member of First Baptist Church of Dunnellon and later became a Deacon of the Church. Frank enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and most importantly his bible study. He was a devout Christian man of God who loved his family and neighbor. Frank will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Alice, and his sister.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, John Dunn, Newtripoli, PA and Glenn Orgill, Alden, NY; his daughter, Barbara Mendelson, Dunnellon; his seven grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren.

A Memorial Services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025  at 2pm at First Baptist Church: 20831 Powell Rd., Dunnellon, FL 34431. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
