Franklin "Frank" Lee Chenis, Sr.

Franklin “Frank” Lee Chenis, Sr., 71, died on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Ocala, FL. He leaves behind his wife, Louise  (Bucaria) Chenis, Ocala, FL; his children, Frank Chenis, Jr., Brian Chenis, Jeffrey Messing, Alan Messing, Martin Messing, Kristy Davis and Donna Messing-Tenenblatt and her husband, Jerry; his grandchildren, Joey, Corbyn, Leah, Ross, Chloe, Heather, Joseph and one great grandchild, Stella.

Frank was born into this life on September 22, 1944 in Nassau County, NY to the late Henry and Beatrice (Thomas) Chenis. Originally from Long Island, NY, he lived and proudly worked for many years in Pinellas County, retiring from the Pinellas County Sheriffs Department as an Auto Mechanic. Frank and his wife, Louise, moved to Marion County in 2003. He was Catholic by faith and he will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Funeral services celebrating Frank's life will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon. His family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday from 11-1:00 PM. Following funeral services, Frank will be entombed at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
