Fred F. Brookshier

Fred F. Brookshier, Dunnellon, Florida, (formerly of Moweaqua, IL , Springfield, IL and Seminole, FL) passed on June 7, 2021, surrounded by loving family.  Fred was a WWII Veteran, retired from Brookshier Building Construction. He was born on April 13th 1925 to Whirl & Myrtle Brookshier and was predeceased by them as well as his wife Margaret of 74+ years, 2 brothers, 5 sisters and great-granddaughter Sera. Fred is survived by his son Robert, daughter Phyllis (Rick); grandchildren Sheri (Mike), Wendy (Niki), Sean, Lance (May), and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many loving family and friends.

Fred, a war veteran served in the United States Navy during WWII 1943-1946.

Fred was a lifelong member of Seminole, FL Fire Department and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County 3231 SW 34th Ave, Ocala, FL 34478 In his honor or to First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon in support of the Prayer Walk.

Memorial services celebrating Fred’s life will take place at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM
