Fred John Lakatis

Fred J. Lakaktis, 74, died on February 11, 2016 at his home in St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his two sons, Jimmy and Fred Lakatis of N.J.; his brother, John Lakatis; his sisters, Lisa Hordeman, Dunnellon, FL,  Dawn Thompson, Dunnellon, FL and his two grandsons.

He was born March 28, 1941 in Allentown, New Jersey to the late John and Naomi(Marshall) Lakatis. He moved to Florida in 1970 from New Jersey.  Fred was a US Army Veteran and a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of the AMVETS in St. Pete  and recently had joined the  fraternal order of the Eagles. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
