Born October 28, 1936 in Staten Island, New York.
Passed Away July 2, 2012 in Dunnellon, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Juliette Stark also of Dunnellon, Florida.
His son, Christopher Stark and daughter in law Gina Stark of Tampa.
His daughter Suzette Altman and son in law Rob Altman of Ocala.
Grandchildren Joshua Stark, Lucien Stark, Alexandra Altman, Robert Altman Jr. Nicole Altman.Great-grandchildren Caden Stark and Maci Slayman.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Stark.
Mr. Stark served in the United States Marine Corp from 1954-1957
He was also a firefighter for the FDNY Engine Co. 53 from 1959-1978
He worked for the Florida State Fire College from 1978-1982 as a instructor and was promoted to Bureau Chief of Fire Standards and Training from 1982-1993.
Mr. Stark was currently a three term City Councilman for the City of Dunnellon as well as the Vice-Mayor.
There will be a Celebration of Mr. Stark's life on Thursday July 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Florida State Fire College 11655 NW Gainesville Rd. Ocala, FL.
