Gene Allman, age 77, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was born in Emporium, PA on December 18, 1938. He was married to and survived by Madeline B. Allman for 33 years. He had lived in Dunnellon since 1990.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Judy Nichols of Emporium, PA, and his children David Allman of Philadelphia, Kathleen Carter of Findley Lake, NY, and Christine Winkler of Erie, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman W. Allman and June Thomas Allman, his sister Linda Lee Allman, and his brother Gerald Allman.
He graduated from Cameron County High School, and worded as an owner-operator/truck driver for many years. He enjoyed baseball, football, and listening to shortwave radio.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Allman will be held at 1 PM on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, 603 Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA.
