George Chester Dyment

George Chester “Chet” Dyment, age 90, left this life on Monday, April 11, 2016, after a very brief hospital stay.


He is survived by 6 children, and 13 grandchildren, plus 2 step children and 9 more grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Ilene in 1971, and his second wife Anne in 2014.  Chet was a Christian and actively served in the Rainbow Springs Village Church.  He served in two branches of the military, US Navy and US Air Force.  He owned the Southshore Bearing Shop in Quincy, MA until he retired.  He loved golf and working with wood.  He made furniture, clocks, and even a canoe.  We will miss him but will be happy to rejoin him one fine day.
