Wednesday, October 31, 2012. He was born October 26, 1937 and was
married to his beautiful devoted wife Alicia for 51 years.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Wallie Seavey, of Tucson, AZ,
Christina Seavey, of Dunnellon, FL and Lynda Jackson-Taylor (Andy), of
Montgomery, AL.
12 Grandchildren, Maya Pittman, Christopher Hancock, Sara Hancock,
Mary Alice Hancock, Alesia Beavers, Andrew Taylor, Nolan Jackson,
Shawn Goolsby, Alicia Ruth Jackson, Matthew Taylor, Melody Taylor &
Sophia Taylor and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, all of Maine.
He graduated from Calais Memorial High School '55 and enlisted in the
USAF at the age of 17, retired after 33 year of honorable service. He
then worked for the Dunnellon Post Office for 16 years.
He was actively involved in St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. He
was a lifelong member of the VFW, ELKS, American Legion and a fourth
degree Knights of Columbus.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, November 5th, 2012
at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Dunnellon, FL with Fr. Kevin
Mac Gabhann officiating the service. Repast to follow in church hall.
