Gladys R. Avsec

Gladys Ruth Avsec, retired 1st. Seargent U.S.  Army and served in Navy for one year passed away peacefully May 15, 2013. She was born January 19, 1940.

Gladys is preceded in death by her father, Nelson Sites , mother, Myrtle Lee Sites and baby son Kentray Gilbert.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Alton L. Gilbert of Inglis, FL; her sons, Nelson M. Gilbert, Chandler, TX, Scott L. Gilbert, Inglis, FL and Brent J. Gilbert of Hudson, NY; her granddaughter, Chelsea Rae Gilbert and Christopher Mark Gilbert of Palestine; her step grandson, Travis John Smith, Oceanside, CA.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
