Glenn M. Geiger, Sr., 76, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Florida Hospital in Orlando. A Florida native, he was born March 29, 1940 in Auburndale, FL and spent the last 30+ years in Dunnellon. Glenn retired from Franklin Industrial Minerals in Ocala as a heavy equipment operator and has since enjoyed traveling with his wife, Lynn, in their R.V. and spending summers with family and friends at River’s Edge R.V. Park in Blairsville, GA. But no matter where Glenn was, you could often find him with a fishing pole in his hand, his favorite pastime. When he wasn’t fishing, you might find him taking his daily walk, playing cards, bowling, or watching a western or sci-fi story on television. He also enjoyed helping those at the R.V. park with building or painting decks, and any other maintenance projects that needed tending to.

A great husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law and friend, Glenn was a well-respected man who was loved by many. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives, and he will be greatly missed. We now find peace in knowing he has been reunited with his wife in Heaven who passed away in 2008 whom he loved and missed dearly.

Glenn is survived by his sons, Glenn Geiger, Jr., Jerry Geiger, and Robert Geiger; Stepdaughter Renée Blair; Stepson Robert Blair; Grandsons Glenn Geiger III, Richard, Robert, Mike, Billy, Doug, and John; Granddaughters April, Helena and Tina; Grandson Cameron Blair; Great Grandchildren Clover, Jesse, Ethan, Adrian and Kameran; Brother J.B. Geiger; and Mother-in-Law Florence Larsen.
