Gysgt. Edmund R. Giertych
January 23, 1931 — April 21, 2019
GySgt. Edmund R. Giertych, USMC Retired, passed away Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He proudly served his country for 21 years, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia, his children Michael Giertych, Roxanne Nesvig (Walt), Susan Rudnicki (Tad), John Giertych (Nancy), grandchildren Travis Giertych, Tyler Giertych, Paul Attkisson, Mark Attkisson, Benjamin Rudnicki, Christina Borzobohaty, Naomi Giertych, A.J. Giertych, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved brother Alex Giertych.
He provided a lifetime example of service, integrity, love and faith.
