Harry Joseph Bauer

Dunnellon, FL and formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania- Harry Joseph Bauer, 91, died on April 21, 2017 in Crystal River, FL. He was the son to the late Lenhardt and Katherine (Horan) Bauer. Harry was born August 20, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. He leaves behind his daughter, Lillian Wikoff-Bauer (Warren), Dunnellon, FL; his brothers, Donald Bauer (Marion), Hatboro, PA , Richard Bauer (Theresa), Warminster, PA; his granddaughter, Victoria Fitzgerald and great grandson, Benjamin Warren Fitzgerald. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Schwarz-Bauer; his sisters, Katherine Ford, Margaret Cain and his brothers, Leonard, John, Frederick, Karl Bauer and his grandson, Warren Harry Wikoff.
Harry moved to Dunnellon in September of 2013 from Abington, PA. He was a 70 year member of the IBEW local 98 as an electrician with the Union in Pennsylvania and a WWII veteran with the United States Navy from 1943-1945. Harry was an avid fisherman but most importantly a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many who will be dearly missed.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held on June 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery in Rosyln, PA.
