OBITUARY
Harry W. Failing, 87, beloved husband of 58yrs., to June Failing entered into rest on November 7, 2014 in Ocala, FL. He was born October 3, 1927 to the late Elmer and Sybil (Miles) Failing in Bath, NY.
He moved to the Dunnellon area in 2000 from Maryland. Harry served our country proudly during WWII, korea and vietnam war with the United States Air Force up until his retirement as a technical Seargent. He also was a security police with the library of Congress and a custodian of a church. Harry enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music and most importantly his family.
He is preceded in death by his his son, Andy Failing and his three brothers, two sisters and daughter in law Deb Failing who was married to Butch Failing.
Besides his loving wife, June Failing he is survived by his children, Butch Failing, Copper Center, Alaska and Denise Campbell (David), Dunnellon, Florida; his daughter in law, Bettina Failing who was married to AndyFailing; sister, Ellen Whitney, Newton, Kansas; his grandchildren who he loved greatly, Joshua Failing, Adam Failing, Marc Failing, Elizabeth Campbell and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Dunnellon with Pastor Russ Randall officiating. Inurnment of Harry's Cremains will take place following a light lunch after the service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell with Military Honors starting at 1:30 PM.
